Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By generating a checkout link via the Quikka WhatsApp bot or completing a payment through a quikka.me link, you agree to these Terms of Service. Quikka provides a digital checkout and inventory management software layer; we do not own or fulfill the physical goods sold by merchants using our platform.

2. Description of Service

Quikka allows independent merchants to generate custom M-Pesa payment links and manage inventory via WhatsApp. All transactions are processed securely through our licensed third-party payment partner, IntaSend.

3. Fees and Settlements

• For Buyers: Using a Quikka checkout link is completely free. You only pay the standard Safaricom M-Pesa transfer charges applicable to your transaction.
• For Merchants: Quikka charges a flat software fee of KES 15 per successful transaction. There are no setup fees or monthly subscription costs.
• Settlements: Merchant funds are held securely throughout the day and are automatically disbursed, minus our KES 15 fee, to the merchant's registered personal M-Pesa account every evening at 6:00 PM EAT.

4. Refunds and Disputes

• Merchant Liability: Quikka is solely a checkout infrastructure provider. The merchant is entirely responsible for the fulfillment, quality, and delivery of all goods or services purchased.
• Refund Process: Any disputes, returns, or refund requests must be handled directly between the buyer and the merchant. Quikka cannot forcefully reverse a completed M-Pesa transaction once the funds have been settled to the merchant.
• Quikka Fees: If a merchant issues a refund to a buyer, the KES 15 transaction fee originally collected by Quikka is non-refundable.

5. Prohibited Activities

Merchants are strictly prohibited from using Quikka to sell illegal goods, counterfeit items, or engage in fraudulent activities. We reserve the right to instantly suspend any account and freeze pending settlements if suspicious or illegal activity is detected.

6. Limitation of Liability

Quikka is not liable for any losses, damages, or undelivered goods resulting from transactions processed through our links. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service and are not responsible for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure (e.g., Safaricom M-Pesa or IntaSend network outages).
